FIMAN Launches “2026 China Medical Aesthetics Field Think Tank Essay Fund Project” with SIA

On November 27, at the SIA Annual Conference—a premier stage gathering the top minds in China’s dermatology field—the “2026 China Medical Aesthetics Field Think Tank Essay Fund Project” (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund Project”), jointly initiated by FIMAN and the SIA Fund, was officially launched. We deeply understand that the core driving force for the development of the facial rejuvenation field stems from the tireless exploration of every physician in clinical practice and scientific research. The value of active collagen needs to be defined and elevated by rigorous evidence-based medicine. Based on this shared philosophy, FIMAN—with 20 years of deep experience in the medical biomaterials field and a commitment to evidence-based medicine—has partnered with the SIA (Scientific-skincare Innovation Alliance), an authoritative think tank in China’s skin health sector, to launch this dedicated fund project. For many years, FIMAN has collaborated with industry experts to conduct clinical research, build academic platforms, and provide comprehensive support including funding, products, research methodologies, and paper publication assistance. This collaboration is a continuation of its long-term commitment to scientific research. Meanwhile, SIA, with its mission to “Make Professionalism Visible,” will work with FIMAN to foster in-depth and far-reaching innovation in collagen, giving a voice to high-quality research and sparking a collision of innovative ideas.

Mr. Wang Shuai, Supervisor and Deputy Secretary-General of SIA, stated that the SIA Fund will fully leverage its professional experience in research fund supervision and academic review. Working with FIMAN, they will jointly promote the output of high-quality academic achievements and support the clinical practice and scientific innovation of active collagen.

Project Guidelines

▌Research Focus

The research should revolve around the application of FILLDERM in cosmetic dermatology and treatment, including two categories:

Clinical Medical Research: Such as the efficacy/safety of collagen in dermatological “water-light” injections, combination therapy protocols, etc.
Basic Medical Research: Such as the molecular biological mechanisms of collagen action, involving pigmentation disorders, inflammatory skin diseases, scar repair, wound healing, etc.

▌Publication Period Requirement

Academic articles must be officially published in compliant academic journals or presented as conference posters between October 31, 2025, and September 30, 2026.

▌Incentives and Awards

To recognize outstanding scientific contributions, we have established a generous reward plan:

First Prize (1 winner): RMB 50,000 + A speaking opportunity at the conference
Second Prize (3 winners): RMB 30,000 + An academic speaking opportunity
Third Prize (6 winners): RMB 10,000
