This standard puts forward strict requirements for operators' qualifications, methods, and environmental facilities, significantly strengthens industry supervision, standardizes operation procedures, improves the safety and effectiveness of related technologies, and promotes the healthy and orderly development of the industry.

Proposed and drafted by FIMAN and administered by the China Food and Drug Industries Quality and Safety Promotion Association, this is China’s first group standard for evaluating skin texture and complexion improvement with injectable tissue‑extracted collagen. It fills an industry gap and signals that China’s collagen aesthetic field has moved from experience‑driven to evidence‑based standardization.

The formulation of this standard will provide a scientific and unified yardstick for evaluating the absorption and utilization efficiency of oral collagen in human body, thus ensuring the authenticity and reliability of the effect of related products.

Through the establishment of such a standardized efficacy evaluation system, it aims to help consumers more accurately identify which products can effectively improve skin aging, which promotes the development of the industry to a higher quality and more practical direction.

As the main drafting agency of the standard “Quality Requirements for Collagen Products” initiated by the China Anti-aging Promoting Association, Fiman Biotechnology has deeply participated in and defined the core definition and characteristics of collagen products, which not only reflects the responsibility to consumers, but also promotes the standardization and high-quality development of the whole collagen industry.

Fiman and 21 experts published the first “Expert Consensus on Collagen Periorbital Filling” in the China Medical Cosmetology. The consensus establishes an evaluation system for periorbital aging and provides a clear application protocol for this delicate area, offering practical guidelines for the industry.

As a consensus-based clinical application guideline, this study not only proposes a comprehensive grading system for periorbital aging but also provides corresponding treatment options for different grades. It focuses on elaborating on the treatment plan centered around collagen fillers, aiming to provide guidance and reference for research and clinical practice in periorbital rejuvenation.

After 16 months, Fiman and over 20 industry experts issued the consensus. It is the first of its kind, focusing on the clinical application of collagen in perioral areas. The consensus proposes a comprehensive grading standard for perioral aging and a standardized injection scheme.
