Group Standard Review Meeting for "Evaluation Methods for Improving Skin Quality and Complexion with Injectable Tissue-Extracted Collagen" Successfully Held
On the morning of March 12, 2026, the China Food and Drug Enterprise Quality and Safety Promotion Association successfully held an online expert technical review meeting for the draft of the group standard "Evaluation Methods for Improving Skin Quality and Complexion with Injectable Tissue-Extracted Collagen". This group standard is led by FIMAN and is under the jurisdiction of the China Food and Drug Enterprise Quality and Safety Promotion Association. Relevant staff of the Association, technical review experts, and members of the standard compilation working group gathered online to jointly ensure the implementation of the standard.
This technical review meeting specially invited seven authoritative experts in the industry to form a technical review expert group to provide professional guidance for the standard review. The affiliated units, professional titles and positions of the seven experts are as follows:
1. Mao Zhenbin, President of China Food and Drug Enterprise Quality and Safety Promotion Association, former Director of the Inspection Bureau of the State Food and Drug Administration
2. Yu Xinhua, former Director of the Institute of Medical Device Standard Management, National Institutes for Food and Drug Control
3. Ren Jie, Associate Chief Physician and Associate Professor of the Department of Dermatology, Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University
4. Shao Ying, Director and Chief Physician of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, the First Hospital of Jilin University
5. Yang Weiqi, Chief Physician and Deputy Director of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department, Shenzhen Second People's Hospital
6. Wang Shiping, President and Associate Chief Physician of Xi'an Huamei Medical Cosmetology Hospital
7. Yan Lei, Founder and President of Chengdu Gaoxin Xuzhang Medical Cosmetology Clinic
The meeting proceeded in an orderly manner in strict accordance with the established agenda. In the opening stage, the experts and participants completed the online check-in. Then, the host briefly introduced the participating experts and representatives from all parties. Entering the core part of the technical review, the person in charge of the standard compilation team first reported on the background, purpose, significance, necessity and main technical content of the standard compilation, and clearly expounded the core ideas and key points of the standard formulation.
In the expert inquiry and discussion session, the seven technical review experts put forward targeted questions and valuable suggestions on the standardization and content of the standard based on their own professional fields and industry experience. Members of the standard compilation working group answered and recorded them in detail one by one. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the scientificity, rigor and practicability of the standard. Subsequently, the expert review group clearly put forward the review opinions and completed the online voting, and the host announced the voting results. Finally, the compilation team summarized and condensed the experts' opinions and suggestions, formed the meeting minutes and gave relevant explanations, and this technical review meeting successfully concluded.
The holding of this technical review meeting for the draft of the group standard "Evaluation Methods for Improving Skin Quality and Complexion with Injectable Tissue-Extracted Collagen" has laid a solid professional foundation for the improvement and official promulgation of the standard. It is conducive to promoting the standardized development of the industry related to injectable tissue-extracted collagen, and provides important standard support for the quality control and technical upgrading of skin improvement medical and aesthetic products.
