Announcement of Results for the 2025 FIMAN×OAPAC Research Fund

With the continuous advancement of biomaterial science and medical technology, new techniques and materials are constantly emerging in the field of injectable aesthetics. To promote the healthy development of collagen injections, provide a scientific basis and technical support for the combined use of diverse materials with collagen, and to motivate researchers to actively engage in innovative studies that address clinical pain points, FIMAN recently organized the review process for the 2025 FIMAN Research Fund.

The review panel invited distinguished experts, including Professor Cui Haiyan from Tongji Hospital, Tongji University; Professor Wang Lin from the Affiliated Central Hospital of Dalian University of Technology; and Professor Yuan Jilong, Editor-in-Chief of the *Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery* and from Liaoning Provincial People’s Hospital. The panel conducted a comprehensive and meticulous evaluation of the submitted projects based on multiple dimensions, including scientific rigor, innovation, clinical application value, feasibility of the research plan, and expected outcomes. This process ensured that every selected project possesses high scientific value, clinical relevance, and commercial potential.

The initiative received an enthusiastic response from numerous researchers. Following the rigorous review by the expert panel, 13 outstanding projects have distinguished themselves from a large pool of high-quality applications nationwide. The final ranking results are now announced as follows:

All the outstanding research projects listed above will receive publication fee sponsorship from the FIMAN Research Fund.

The specific award scheme for the top 3 projects is as follows:

First Prize (1 project): A cash award of RMB 30,000
Second Prize (1 project): A cash award of RMB 20,000
Third Prize (1 project): A cash award of RMB 10,000

Additionally, if the research findings of any of these top three projects are ultimately published in a high-impact SCI journal, the applicant will receive an additional bonus of RMB 50,000 (contingent upon the publication of the paper) in recognition of their outstanding academic contribution.
